Congratulations to Kent Ross, CrossFit Puyallup’s athlete of the month! He has been such a joy to be around and his positive attitude is highly contagious. He never takes it easy on a WOD and is incredible at motivating his fellow athletes. You will often find him around the box accompanied by his WOD partner, his wife Julie.
Kent joined the CrossFit Puyallup Family in July of 2012. He was encouraged to start by his wife Julie who was already a member. Along the way of his CrossFit journey Kent has faced some challenges. According to Kent, those challenges consist of his “bum leg” and double unders. Some victories Kent has experienced along the way are having overall better fitness, gained muscle, a better understanding of weight training and even a few double unders! Some of Kent’s CrossFit goals are, “ refine my whining skills and keep up with Boone!” Kent and his sense of humor is just one of the many qualities that makes him stand out here at CFP!
Participating in classes with Julie is something Kent enjoys to do. That time together makes for a good marriage. Kent also really enjoys whining at Coach Jim! Since attending CrossFit, Kent and Julie have learned to eat better and encourage each other. So be sure to congratulate Kent when you see him around the box!
